About Me
My name is Alex Robb.
With a degree in Psychology and a teaching career behind me, I decided in 2011 to train in Play and Creative Arts Therapy with PTUK and qualified as a certified Play and Creative Arts Therapist in early 2015.
I have well over 1000 hours of experience working therapeutically with children, both in schools and in my private fully equipped therapy space. I also offer Clinical Supervision to other play therapists and trainees.
I am also qualified to provide Parent-Child Attachment Play, in which I assist parents in building up stronger attachment relationships with their children, and Baby Bonding, in which I assist new and soon-to-be mothers with developing strong attachment-based relationships with their babies.
I am a member of PTUK (Play Therapy UK) and work within their ethical framework. I am on their register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists, which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (See link below)
I hold a current enhanced DBS police check and I am fully insured.
